Advanced Torso & Pelvic Stability
We’re continuing to build our core and pelvic control to keep you sitting securely in the saddle. You already know that tipping from side to side or raising one hip will activate the muscles in your torso and pelvis. Now we’re going to make the farmer’s carry more challenging by only using one bucket, kettlebell, or whatever you’ve been using. Your tendency will be to lean to the side you’re holding the bucket, but don’t! Engage your poll, keep your shoulders even, and walk forward and backward. This seemingly easy exercise not only creates stability, but strength as well. Take your time and be sure to breathe.
